Sabah's electricity constraints are usually discussed as a public service issue. For investors, they are also a risk premium. Every outage changes the cost of operating factories, hotels, cold chains, and digital infrastructure.
The state needs generation, grid reinforcement, and transparent project milestones. Without that visibility, announcements on downstream industry will carry less weight than the physical reliability of supply.
Publishing outage frequency, reserve margins, and project delivery status by district would make the debate less anecdotal and more accountable.
